Shawn has a 2nd Dan in Traditional Taekwondo and has won the following:
- US International Kickboxing Federation Full Contact Kickboxing Champion.
- US Midwest Full Contact Kickboxing Champion
- Michigan State Full Contact Champion
He also volunteers as an Instructor at the Institute of Martial Arts and for the Detroit Helping our Youth Development Karate and Mentor Programs.
